Sport Group

Founded in 1969, Sport Group is a market leader in artificial turf systems and synthetic outdoor sports and recreational surface systems. Its comprehensive product range includes artificial turf, running tracks and polyurethane surfaces as well as components for sporting, industrial and leisure facilities.

Sport Group is headquartered in Burgheim, Germany, and formed of 19 companies across nine countries, with over 1,000 employees. Sport Group generated turnover of around €300m in 2014, a significant percentage of which is accounted for by providing artificial surfaces for soccer, hockey, American football and rugby pitches as well as synthetic running tracks and landscaping.

The company constantly strives to innovate new products and has a significant R&D presence to achieve this. A key part of Sport Group's offering is its ability to source and install its products, as well as ensuring the customer benefits from its comprehensive after-sales service.
